We’re a family-run business specializing in wedding cakes and specialty cupcakes. And yes, “Cakery” is indeed a word—we double-checked! 😉 Our bake-to-order approach ensures that every creation is crafted with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. It’s all about homemade love here, following a classic baking style reminiscent of our mothers and grandmother's recipes.
Our Philosophy: When you leave our shop with a box of cupcakes or we deliver a beautifully tiered cake to your Venue, we want you to experience a delightful sense of nostalgia. This has been the busiest, craziest season to date, and I hope to continue this pace after a short break this December. Have you heard about Lavender Ridge? It's the bee's knees for weddings! I mean, we've had more weddings there than I've had hot dinners this wedding season. It's not too shabby in size but can fit a whole bunch of people. And it's just so cute and versatile - every time I go there, it's like I see something I haven't seen before. The grounds are so pristine, you could eat off them (but please don't, that's gross and the waterfall where you say "I do" is just the cherry on top. Plus, the owner and staff are a hoot they'll have you in stitches! And let's not forget the location - it's nestled next to the Truckee River on the outskirts of Reno. So, if you're looking for a wedding venue that's the bomb dot com and has a purple theme, Lavender Ridge is where it's at!
Tahoe Blue Estate
Tahoe Blue Estate is a private home that will make you feel like you're living the high life, even if you're not! This stunning venue is perfect for your dream wedding, with breathtaking views of South Lake Tahoe and luxurious amenities that will make you feel like royalty. While you may have to climb a few stairs to get there trust us, the views are worth it. And with at least 8 bathrooms (we think), you and your guests will have plenty of space to do your business. Just be warned, the parking situation can be a bit tricky, so make sure you're up for the challenge if you're driving. But if you're looking for a beautiful venue for a smaller guest list, Tahoe Blue Estate is the perfect spot for your big day!

Our cupcakes have a reputation so fabulous; they could easily be the stars of their own show. We do our best to keep these on our weekly menus. The flavor of the week depends on whatever the baker is feeling that week. Most of the time she’s always good for a snickerdoodle cupcake anytime of the year. All you must do is ask her to whip up your favorite and nine times out of ten she’ll have you eating them in no time at all. Side notes though ... For the cake tasting she gave us numerous cake samples and different buttercreams/frostings to take home and try, which were all delicious!
